Privacy notice
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This notice explains what personal data this site handles, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. The controller is WaxWingFPV, and the governing law is Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
It is short on purpose. Its job is to say plainly what we do and why, not to bury it.
What we handle, and why
When you fill in the enquiry form you give your name, your business name, the kind of business it is, and your message. We use those only to answer you and to quote. They are not used for anything else, and there is no profiling or automated decision-making.
The form does not send your data to our server
When you submit the form, your browser builds a WhatsApp message out of what you typed and opens WhatsApp. Whether to send it is your decision.
So this site does not collect, record or store those details. They reach us from your own WhatsApp app. There is no server or database here that receives them.
Who else is involved
WhatsApp: when you send the message, it travels over WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) infrastructure, under WhatsApp's own terms. We are not a party to that transmission.
Hosting and CDN: the site runs on our own server and is served through Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses transiently for security and traffic management.
Beyond those, your details are not shared with anyone, and are never sold.
Analytics
We use GoatCounter, an open-source analytics tool that sets no cookies. It stores nothing on your device, and it does not write IP addresses to its database: it keeps them in memory for at most eight hours to tell repeat visits apart, then discards them.
What it records is aggregate only: page views, browser, operating system, country, screen width, and how often the WhatsApp button is used. None of it identifies you. That is why this site shows no cookie banner.
Legal basis
The consent you give when you submit the form (KVKK art. 5/1), and the necessity of processing in order to answer you (art. 5/2-c). You are not obliged to consent, but without it we cannot quote for you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that reach us by WhatsApp or email are kept for at most twelve months after they are answered, then deleted. If a legal obligation arises, that period may be extended for as long as the relevant legislation requires.
Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to:
- Know whether your data is being processed.
- Ask for information about it if it is.
- Know the purpose of processing and whether it is being used consistently with that purpose.
- Know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, in Turkey or abroad.
- Ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected.
- Ask for it to be deleted or destroyed.
- Ask for corrections and deletions to be passed on to anyone the data was transferred to.
- Object to a result arising against you from analysis carried out solely by automated means.
- Claim compensation if you suffer loss from processing that breaches the law.
